noodles, noodles everywhere

One of the things we talked about today for the letter "N" is Noodles! We got to color them, string them for necklaces, and EAT them! I boiled them in chicken stock, drained them, and put a can of cream of chicken soup in them. The kids LOVED them!

Here they are coloring the noodle, I let them pick out what color they wanted and I put a drop of food coloring with rubbing alcohol in a zip lock bag and they shook away. It doesn't take too long for them to dry, either.

Here are the beautiful colored noodles.

Here they are using their hand/eye coordination skills to string the noodles to make a necklace.

We taped one side to the table so they don't get frustrated with them falling off.
