These Eggs Were Made for Cracking

And that's just what we'll do... to make German Pancakes for Letter E Day. German pancakes call for 9 eggs so each child got to crack an egg themself. They crack the eggs into a seperate bowl so we can fish out any shells before they go into the batter. And we keep paper towels handy to catch any messes. We used A LOT of paper towels this year because the eggs kept EXPLODING all over the place. Good thing we had plenty of extra eggs.

Our finished German Pancakes. They were not as fluffy this time because I'm not entirely sure how many eggs ended up in there and how many ended up on the table, but they still tasted delicious drizzled with syrup.

We ate the pancakes for our snack. Yum!
