Having bare ground outside did not stop us from having a good ol' snowball fight in preschool when we learned about Winter. These snowballs are better than real because they don't melt, aren't cold on your hands, and are as soft as cottonballs... well, they are cottonballs. It was a winter wonderland in the living room.
Disclaimer: When real snow comes, the preschool teachers cannot be held responsible for children having learned to:
1. gang up on one person and shower them with snowballs (even better if they are an adult)
2. throw snow at you and laugh
3. sneak up behind you with a fistful of snow.
