We read If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff during Letter M week.
Naturally, we needed to make muffins for our craft/cooking time.
We made apple muffins. First, the children helped chop the muffins.
Let it bake during play time and them enjoy! Mmmm. they were warm and delicious.
We also colored the Letter M with markers and added marshmallows. We snitched a few marshmallows while making the project. That's the best way to make a craft!
We also talked about the mail. During circle time, each child got a letter in the preschool mailbox.
The children decorated a letter for themselves during crafttime. I hope you get your project in the mail soon!
This week, we added a new opening table activity... rice and bean buckets. Three buckets filled with grains to dig through, pour, dump and bury toys. There were cars, trucks, spoons, play animals, dinosaurs and all kinds of neat treasures to use. It was a hit!
